Blank Pages Printing

It’s a confusing moment—you hear the printer run, the paper feeds through, but when it comes out, the page is completely blank. This can be caused by low or dried-up ink, clogged printheads, or even a software glitch sending the wrong instructions. It might look like a big problem, but in most cases, it’s a quick fix with a cleaning cycle or cartridge check.

Possible Causes:

  • Empty, clogged, or misaligned ink cartridge
  • Printing blank pages from the document by mistake
  • Dirty or blocked printhead
  • Wrong print settings selected

Quick Fixes:

  • Check and replace low or empty cartridges
  • Run a printhead cleaning or alignment
  • Recheck print preview and remove unwanted blank pages
  • Restart the printer and reselect correct settings

Future Tips:

  • Print test pages regularly to keep ink flowing
  • Use your printer at least once a week to avoid ink drying
  • Store cartridges properly and avoid letting them run too low
